Night Nannies

Night Nannies {also known as Overnight nannies} provided by Butterfly Nannies will be at least 23 years of age with a minimum of 3 years of childcare experience and may also hold childcare qualifications.  These hours can be flexible if pre-arranged directly with us before hand.

Night Nannies will gently guide your baby/child/ren to sleep through the night, whilst you enjoy a good night’s sleep.

What are the duties of a Night Nanny?

* night feeds
* change nappies
* settle your baby/child/ren to sleep
* prepare and sterilise your baby’s bottles
* dress the baby/child/ren in the morning
* give help and advice on getting the baby/child/ren into a sleep routine
* stay longer in the mornings to allow you a lie-in
* Night Nannies are NOT responsible for domestic cleaning or laundry

How much does an Night Nanny Cost?

o £135 – £150 per night (payable to the night nanny, £25 agency fee per night)
o Registration Fee is FREE

Night Nannies are required to have excellent newborn and baby/childcare experience as well as relevant childcare-related qualifications. These include qualications such as NNEB, BTEC diploma, NVQ, midwifery, neonatal or paediatric training and qualification.

Night nannies will also have undertaken a First Aid course and will hold an Enhanced CRB check.
